Lancer track & field alum Melissa Bishop has claimed the gold medal in the women's 800m at the Pan Am Games on Wednesday night in Toronto

Former Windsor Lancer track & field athletes Melissa Bishop and Nicole Sassine have been named to the Canadian national team for the 2015 International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) World Championships in Beijing, China August 22 to 30.

The Windsor Lancers Track and Field program had an outstanding showing at the 2015 Canadian Track and Field Championships in Edmonton, Alberta this past week.

The Lancer men's track and field team captured the CIS national championship title at home on Saturday afternoon at the St. Denis Centre.
